WE ARE HIRING STructural Drafter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience preparing structural drawings for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare structural drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Develop foundation, framing, roof, and structural detail drawings.
  • Prepare drawings based on structural engineering calculations, sketches, and markups.
  • Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP plans.
  • Review and revise drawings based on engineer, client, and permitting comments.
  • Prepare complete permit and construction drawing sets.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Licensure: FE/EIT or PE license is a plus, but not required.

Experience: 3–5 years of structural drafting experience, including residential and commercial projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience preparing foundation, framing, roof, and structural details.
  • Good understanding of wood, steel, and concrete construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Knowledge of foundation design and calculations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes and structural standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
